I usually read a KU before I even think about buying it....I didn't this time and I have no regret.Love, Love, Love this book! This series has been so good and did not disappoint! This story travels along with what is going on in the other books but is still a stand alone. It explains a lot. Not a one got cheesy or so involved in sex that it took away from the storyline. Just a book of 2 guys falling in love. This isn't and insta-love book. It draws you in and you get involved in their lives which, to me, makes for a wonderful book. I laughed, cried, got mad. I kept saying stuff outloud that my husband thought I was talking about something I saw in fb or something and then I'd tell him it was the book I was reading and he'd roll his eyes at me. THATS how good this book is. Buy it, read it, immerse yourself! And if you haven't read the others get them too. I'm going to start over again.

Okay here we have another winner from Aimee. I have been waiting for JJ's story since the first book in the series . JJ is Chase's best friend and sometimes lover when we meet him in the first book in the series . We learn that JJ has a story and now we get to hear it. We also get to learn more about Gray's best friend Miller . They have been best friends for a long time and now that Gray has Chase, Miller feels alone. Miller has a story as well.
Both of these men are more alike than they think. From the beginning, the chemistry between them is on fire and I couldn't wait to read the heat these 2 would make and I wasn't disappointed. Aimee knows how to write hot scenes. Who can resist two alpha males that switch . What else can you ask for in the story! Miller feels he isn't meant to be in love and JJ feels he doesn't deserve to be loved. They decide on a casual fling to satisfy both their needs but it turns into so much more. They both didn't believe in mushy love but that is exactly what you get with these 2 men. The story itself is great and I loved reading it. The way Miller and JJ come together and stay together is heat warming. Miller breaks down JJ's walls and JJ lets him in. We also get to catch up with all the other great characters in the previous books and see how life has gone all for all of them. All in all this was a really great read for me and I can't wait to read what is next from Aimee. Perfect fit was a perfect read !!! Reviewed for Alpha Book Club.
This is an absolutely stellar body of work. I have read over 300+ novels/stories and have written reviews for almost as many, but only one other book (The nothingness of Ben by Brad Boney) has prompted me to write a review of this magnitude.
This was a masterpiece. This author has proven that she has a masterful handle on the English vocabulary. The story itself is rather long, but worth every single second it took to read it. She was able to verbally illustrate the scenery to such a degree and with such precision that you were actually able to clearly picture each and every scene as if you were actually there. Her descriptors of the characters, however was mostly vague. I thought this was brilliant because it allowed you to fill in the vision to create the hero(s) that fit your imagination. There was a mention that two of the main characters, Jagger and Grayson resembled Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent, but that was as detailed as the descriptions went.
The characters were well rounded and fully interactive, even the background characters. The character count was surprisingly high, but they were built into the story so strongly that they flowed along with everything else, even when they were only mentioned once or twice. The perspective of the story was alternating first person with quite a few surprises and several rather intense sexual encounters.
In this story, Miller and Jagger who are two extremely broken men, meet when their best friends Grayson and Chase fall in love. It is revealed early on that Chase and Jagger were in a relationship prior, and is a source of great tension between Jagger and Grayson. Both Jagger and Miller fight hard to avoid the budding relationship between them, but eventually begin to fall for each other and build a relationship. There were so many friends and loved ones moving in and out of this story (Gram, Jack, Liam, Ben, Xavier…) and even the appearance of an ex-fling (Senator Bax) who tried to break up the budding relationship. There are moments of pure joy and discovery skillfully mixed with extreme tragedy and loss. Throw in two extremely lovable children (Lucas and Lilly) and this story takes you on an emotional ride.
I laughed, I cried, I cursed, I sat on the edge of my seat. The story was so enticing that I even had to sneak the book in to read a few pages while working and spent several nights missing sleep to finish a chapter. Multiple times, I had to force myself to set the book down and walk away while reminding myself that this was actually a work of fiction and not a real life biography. I was captivated by chapter 2 and could not be parted from this book until the last page.
Having said all this, I do have only one absolutely horrible critique It came to an end.
